Daniel and Tiffany have participated together in two campaigns in Tanzania. While there, they were thrilled with the fertile spiritual soil. The locals have a great thirst for biblical knowledge and are eager to study with open minds.
Daniel's main focus in Tanzania will be in working with the Andrew Connally School of Preaching to train indigenous local evangelists. He will also be involved in personal evangelism and working to strengthen the local congregations. Additionally, they will be very active in the camps and campaigns that occur throughout the year.
As you can see, there are enormous opportunities for useful service to the Lord in this field. The work is endless, and the fruits are a testimony to God’s blessing the efforts. The Lord’s Church is growing by leaps and bounds in East Africa, but it needs more laborers to work the fields. It can rightly be said of Tanzania, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest” (Luke 10:2).
When we think about the great work to be done, we are reminded of Isaiah 6:8, “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me.”
The Gaines family says to you,
“Here we are. Will you send us?”
